Land development codes

Dania Beach

IP is crafting the zoning and design regulations to implement the Dania Beach CRA Downtown Master Plan, including creation of new zoning districts and regulations tailored to Downtown Dania Beach.

Doral

In addition to developing the first comprehensive plan, IP is writing the first land development code for the newly incorporated City of Doral. The new land development code will be produced with public involvement on development standards for the City.

Homestead

IP has prepared major amendments to the City of Homestead Zoning Code to more effectively address mixed-use development, neighborhood infill and downtown development. Amendments prepared by IP included creation of the Planned Urban Neighborhood, Business Mixed-Use, Neighborhood Mixed-Use and Technology Mixed-Use districts.

Oakland Park

IP produced the land development regulations for the Downtown Mixed Use District for the City of Oakland Park. The ordinance includes design guidelines, permitted uses, parking regulations, and a building height incentive program. The regulations were written in conjunction with a Downtown Master plan.
